Dover Heritage Shield, a game played between Dover and Gateway once a year. The Shield was presented to the Clubs by Heritage Taxis in 1991. Won by Gateway in 2023.
Gateway completed in the Spitfire Tournment at Faversham Recreation Bowls Club on Sunday 3 September. This event is sponsored by Shepherd Neame. Gateway just missed out on the final 4.

Winners of the Coronation Cup 2024 were from Kearsney Bowls Club – Laura Kent, Paul Cook and John Broom.
Runners Up of the Coronation Cup 2024 were also from Kearsney Bowls Club – Freda Smith, Keith Howe and Fred Pontin. Congratulations to Kearsney.
Runners Up from Group 1 of the Coronation Cup, David Langley, Sheila Windebank and her brother Lindsay from New Zealand
Sheila and Chris Windebank with her brother Lindsay and his wife Rita from New Zealand. They brought an international flavour to the Coronation Cup for 2024. They were both fantastic company, good bowlers and spent a couple of days helping prepare the club for the competition. Gateway Bowls Club wish them a safe journey back to New Zealand and hope they have many happy memories of their time spent with us.
Gateway and Kearsney Bowls Club played the second game in the Lindsay Langley Shield on 29 August. This game was played in the memory of Lindsay, who played for both clubs, and was the wife of David Langley who plays for Gateway. Lindsay sadly passed away last year. The Shield was presented to the Kearsney captain, the winning club, by David and will be played annually at each club. A fun afternoon was had by all.
Gateway Mixed Triples competition 2024. Lovely afternoon playing this competition. The two teams in the final were Paul, Derek and Ivana against David, Lesley and Andy. Congratulations to everyone involved and to Nick for organising the competition.
